"To hide one lie, a thousand lies are needed."

This simple little proverb is really on point.

When you are dealing with a lie, you are dealing with deception.

And when you are dealing with lies piled on top of lies piled on top of a ton of lies it needs a lot of focus and honesty to burn away the bullshit and dross.

All lies, no matter how innocent, are fucking snakes. They will indefinitely bite you and leave you helpless while you are paralyzed by their poison awaiting your own death.

There are tons of lies out there and to battle them all will require a lot of courage and time. But there is one core process, one singular lie, that is so fucking wretched that it can make satan puke.

Its the foundational fertile ground on which every other kind of deception finds its roots and grows.

Its the one fucking spider that is spinning a web of lies..... no matter how many times you try and destroy the web, if you don't kill the spider the web will be back up in no time.

The stink of that one lie is this - it makes itself look innocent. It fucking deceives you - to the core. You might look at it and go - 'oh, it doesn't seem so bad' - and thats when the lie traps you again.... the spider is a spider-cum-chameleon.. it changes its color and shows you like its made up of white holy light... but in actuality is the devil in god's costume.

The lie that I am talking about, and which you have fallen for is this - Its 'YOU'.

Yes, 'YOU'.

'YOU' are a lie.

The 'YOU' that you think is experiencing life. The 'YOU' that you think is observing it. The 'YOU' that you think is living life.

But there is no 'YOU'. The lie caught you into believing something there was. But there isn't. There isn't a 'YOU' that was a cause, the owner, the SEER.......

There existed an assumption of a 'YOU', a mirage, a thought, an illusion..... but illusions aren't real... they just fool you into thinking that they are.

'YOU' is the lie that humanity has fallen for.

Recognize this.

There is no 'you'. Never was.

Clean Goodness

It is all too often in life that we find ourselves in situations where we feel like we are walking a tight rope and are losing balance, because all the good things which we possibly want to live with, manage to turn into some kind of monstrosity - our love turns into obsession, our peace into apathetic inaction etc.

The obvious choice is to fire on less than full cylinders. Live in 'moderation'. To live 'average'. To live less than what you are capable of because the possibility of you burning out is unquestionable.

Is this what it comes down to then - to not live fully?

No, there is a way out.

There is a place where you can live in goodness and not be worried about getting sucked into evil.

There is this story in Greek mythology about this guy called Icarus, and whats great about this story is that when I read the story, it struck me that it was very similar to what happens in our everyday lives.

Icarus basically was a dude whose dad made him wings of wax and feather for him to fly and escape some kind of prison where he was held up.

There were only two rules he had to obey when flying - don't fly too near the sun and don't fly too near the ocean.

One day, blinded by his ability to fly he decides to fly too close to the sun - gets his wax wings melted and eventually falls down and dies.

This tends to be the "normal" human experience - either we manage to fly too close to the sun and melt our wings, or we don't try push ourselves hard enough to take a good flight at all.

In the spectrum of life, good exists in the middle of the spectrum where on either side of it lurks evil. Evil which is ever ready to pollute and corrupt the goodness and turn it into some kind of monstrosity.

To remain in the sweet spot of good between those two extremes warrants caution. And it fucking sucks.

But what if I were to tell you that there is a place where there is no need for caution to get your wings burned down? what if I were to tell you that you could drive your life pedal to the metal without any harmful consequences?

There is a place where life is lived fully.

There is a place where all concerns for having something good corrupted into something out of control and essentially evil go out the window.

There is a place where goodness is clean.

Clean Goodness

Lets take up 'self-confidence' for example.

Do you feel that tingly sensation when you are about to do something important but you just have a hard time trusting 'yourself'? That's because somewhere deep down, you have never verified what does 'you' actually stand for. You fear what you don't know.

The 'self' remains in the dark and that's the place you never go to check because you're afraid. But if you would just have the courage to jump in the dark, with your lamp of honesty.... man you'll be surprised.

You'll be surprised to know that there was never ever a 'self' in the first place. EVER.

That's why the biggest flaw in this whole 'self-confidence' deal is this - an assumption of a 'self' in existence. Assuming there is a 'self' that exists which you can trust.

One quote I read by Russell Brand which I especially liked on this subject was -

"It's difficult to believe in yourself because the idea of self is an artificial construction. No-one really feels self-confident deep down because it's an artificial idea."

There really isn't a 'self' for you to derive/place your confidence from/in. The idea of a 'self' is just an idea. The idea of an 'unicorn' is just an idea. An idea does not make anything real.

'Self' is a lie. But the lie of 'self' when alive will do everything in its power to survive.

Arrogance is a monstrous form of confidence. Its the lie's attempt to cover itself up with so much bullshit that you have shit all over your eyes forbidding you to see anything clearly.

Truth is empowering. Lies, no matter how grand they might seem on the surface are ultimately pretentious and like poisoned sugar... they taste sweet, but they end up fucking killing you.

Get the lie of 'self' out of your lives guys. Recognize the lie and it loses its power over you.

You can't go back on something which you have verified (not know - because there are many false assumptions which give you the sense of knowing but are actually flawed at the core) to be true.

Be open to the possibility that what you now assume to be true might be wrong. That's why, test this assumption. Test this assumption of a 'self' to be in existence. Be honest in putting this to the test.

Know that there is no 'you' to have a life, no 'you' to be the cause for 'your' life, no 'you' to have a body, no 'you' to have a mind.... everything just is... nothing belongs to anything... its just Life...

Dangling Pointer

There is a concept in computer programming known as 'dangling pointer'.

What a pointer basically means is that it is sort of a label, an address, which gives the computer the address location of the object the computer is looking for. The object can be a port address to any hardware device, an object in memory, anything.

To maintain a list of pointers is an efficient way to handle things because the function of pointers is similar to maintaining an address book for everything which the computer can refer to and take use of whenever it needs anything.

Everything is fine and dandy till due to some reason you happen to delete an object completely but the pointer pointing to it remains.

This pointer, which now is actually pointing to nothing because the object it was pointing to has been deleted, if not corrected causes serious complications in the efficient running of the computer, as serious as the complete crashing of the system because there could be many links pointing to it, depending on the object the pointer pointed towards.

This type of pointer, which actually refers to nothing, but still is there in the address book memory of a computer is called a 'dangling pointer'. This dangling pointer is a false pointer, a pointer which actually is serving no purpose and would infact cause trouble if other pointers depended on it.

This case of dangling pointer or dangling references is pretty much similar to our thoughts about a 'self'. The thought of 'I', this label of 'I' which the mind has assigned to refer to something in its address book, actually points to nothing. There is nobody home.

There is nothing.

There is no you.

There is no self.

The Illusion of "Self"

Humanity is in chains. The chains are not something physical or political in nature but in the very nature of how people generally operate in their lives.

All the motives of their actions, in almost every case destructive, spring from consideration of a common source - a source which they have not yet examined, and if they did, they would be surprised to find themselves unchained.

The common source is their sense of Self.

This assumption of a Self to be in existence is actually false.

The cause of bondage is not seeing through the illusion of the self.

What is an illusion?

Its an erroneous mental representation, something false believed to be true, some kind of deception, something dishonest. The most insidious thing about an illusion is this - the illusion exists, but the thing which the illusion paints doesn't.

The subtlest illusion which people generally regard as true is the illusion of the self. And to base your life on an illusion - on something which is utterly dishonest is perhaps the most destructive and most unintelligent way to live life.

What is SELF?

SELF refers to the 'I' - the entity which is thought to be the one which experiences life and is owner of it - 'I', the owner of a body, mind, thoughts, emotions etc. But this entity known as the 'Self'/'I' doesn't exist. Everything exists - body, mind, thoughts, emotions; but there is no entity such as 'I' which is its owner.

The reason why there is an illusion of a self to be in existence, and why it is so persistent in its claim, is because the human mind processes things in terms of cause and effect. But as efficient a tool for thinking the model of 'cause and effect' maybe - it doesn't encompass reality - because reality itself is uncaused. People assume that there must be a cause for every action, i.e - there must be a 'doer' behind every 'doing'. But there is no 'doer'/'self'. There is only doing - done by life itself.

To see through this idea of a self (the self which doesn't exist) is when you will gain real sanity. Because until now your motives were corrupted - corrupted by the illusion of the self - and you didn't do things much differently than writing cheques and depositing real cash into a person's bank account when there really is no person by that name in reality - he is fake, a pretension, a fiction, a lie.

You have been living much like Russell Crowe in his flick 'A Beautiful Mind', imagining there is somebody he is working undercover for when there really is nobody and there really is no conspiracy theory that he needs to solve.

Yeah? Do you see how the mind can imagine things which aren't in existence?

See through this illusion. See how in reality the thought of 'I' actually refers to nothing in existence. See how there is just life without an owner of it. See how everything else in the world remains and doesn't lose its existence except Self.

There is no Self. Self doesn't exist. There is just Life. Look and Get Free.

Hoaxes And Truth

The greatest hoax mankind has ever been subjected to is not the hoax of a lochness monster or a yeti in the Himalayas, but is something of a very subtle nature.

The greatest hoax is that 'YOU' exist.

This hoax of a 'YOU' to exist, like every other hoax, is based on imagination rather than reality.  Fiction is often more intriguing and interesting than a fact, but to not see fiction as a fiction and instead see it as a fact is to be trapped in an illusion with no escape way out.

'YOU' are a hoax more worse than the hoax of vampires to exist.

There is no 'YOU'.

There is no 'self'.

There is only reality.

Julian Assange Couchsurf 2010

Julian Assange is the founder and editor in chief of Wikileaks.  This is a picture of Julian Assange:

Wikileaks is basically a kind of anonymous drop box.  If you see something corrupt happening, you can post documents here anonymously.

WikiLeaks has been involved in the publication of material documenting extrajudicial killings in Kenya.

A report of toxic waste dumping on the African coast by the British company Transfigura that killed hundreds of people (a report they had successfully blocked publication of in the British media).

Church of Scientology manuals detailing their 'advanced techniques' of 'personal growth'.

Guantanamo Bay procedures detailing savage and inhumane treatment.

And the July 12, 2007 Baghdad airstrike video, where American helicopter pilots laughed and crowed as they murdered a group of innocent people - including two Reuters journalists - because they had decided that the cameras the journalists carried were rocket launchers.

Wikileaks is an incredible force for transparency and good.

Assange has been accused of rape.

These accusations surfaced one week after a previous release of 90 000 documents on Wikileaks which demonstrated multiple instances of the military coverups of murders and torture in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He has no criminal history of violence of which anyone is aware, or indeed any criminal history at all, apart from some childhood charges for computer hacking in his homeland of Australia, of which the Australian prosecutors themselves said "there is just no evidence that there was anything other than sort of intelligent inquisitiveness and the pleasure of being able to—what's the expression—surf through these various computers"

One of two women involved [involved as in she's one of Assange's alleged rape victims] told Aftonbladet in an interview published today that she had never intended Assange to be charged with rape. She was quoted as saying: "It is quite wrong that we were afraid of him. He is not violent and I do not feel threatened by him."

Now get this.

Last week Wikileaks released 250 000 diplomatic cables from the US State Department's diplomatic office.

A quarter of a million.

Among the delightful pieces of information was proof that Britain has conspired to hide illegal weapons, banned by international law, on it's own soil for America.

I'll say that again.

Britain's politicians agreed to hide weapons banned by international law on British soil.

In the wake of the release of these documents, Interpol - the international police agency, released a Red Notice for Assange's arrest.

This is the highest possible level of alert that Interpol can put out on a person.

Let's just read that quote from one of his 'victims' again:

One of two women involved [involved as in she's one of Assange's alleged rape victims] told Aftonbladet in an interview published today that she had never intended Assange to be charged with rape. She was quoted as saying: "It is quite wrong that we were afraid of him. He is not violent and I do not feel threatened by him."

This is the crime for which INTERPOL has released a RED NOTICE on this man.

An Interpol Red Notice, just after he releases 250 000 documents exposing illegal activity in the US and UK governments.

This is an absolute disgrace.

But it gets worse.  All of a sudden, major companies that all of us use start joining in the hunt for Assange.

Who the fuck are Paypal?  Who do they think they are?  So if someone goes up against the government, they can just pull the funding plug?

Is this democracy?

Then Amazon removes Wikileaks as a paying customer from it's servers, saying that it doesn't work with people "engaged in illegal activities."

And yet it still lists Hillary Clinton's autobiography after the state department approved the hiding of illegal cluster munitions on British soil?  With British complicity?  No.

This has NOTHING to do with illegal activity.  This is businesses doing favours for politicians.

Because they are corrupt.  Corruption Wikileaks has the courage to expose.

Is this democracy?

No it's not.

It gets better.

Senior politicians, such as America's Sarah Palin and Canada's Tom Flanagan have openly called for his murder.

They have been met by howls of support from their adoring admirers in the general public, and the right wing media who feed millions of people people lies they greedily swallow down.

Saturday Night Live, America's flagship comedy show, has decided to make a big joke about how 'sleazy' Assange is.

Everyone's jumping on board.

I've started a facebook group - I started it yesterday, we've already got over 700 members.  Please help us publicise it.

It is called the Julian Assange Couchsurf 2010.

It's anyone who'll lend a couch to a man on the run, being hounded by the authorities over spurious accusations, hounded for an act of incredible courage and principle.

This is a stunning and sickening assault by the political establishment on a man of incredible courage.  It is imperative that people stand together and demonstrate that not all of us are so easily used by a system that cares only about the degree to which we consume.

I was wondering how to end this piece, I wanted to make it good.  But I can't think of anything better to say than to share with you the words of Julian Assange.  When asked why he does what he does, this is how he responded:

"The whole universe or the structure that perceives it is a worthy opponent, but try as I may I can not escape the sound of suffering.

Perhaps as an old man I will take great comfort in pottering around in a lab and gently talking to students in the summer evening and will accept suffering with insouciance.

But not now; men in their prime, if they have convictions are tasked to act on them."

HONESTY - A Prerequisite

"Honesty - the first chapter in the book of wisdom."
- Thomas Jefferson

Honesty is a virtue fast becoming rare. People rather hear and praise flowery words of "wisdom" and beat around the bush than do some hard honest inquiry about things because to be honest requires a great deal of courage and at times requires one to swallow the bitter pill if need be.

But in the end honesty has its own reward - Truth.

An honest man has allegiance towards nothing save the truth and he gets there by testing things for the truth within them.

Truth holds the capacity to withstand any kind of bullshit thrown towards it, any kind of test, and will continue to shine even if the sun dies down.

"Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

Test anything and everything, any assumption, any belief, any statement with BRUTAL HONESTY to arrive at the truth.

This blog along with those enlisted in the blogroll is dedicated to serve truth, honesty and courage.

Swimming and getting wet goes hand in hand, and so does truth and honesty.

Plunge in with HONESTY as your sword and COURAGE as your armour - win the GLORY of getting to know the TRUTH.
